Student Protection Policy
CHILD PROTECTION POLICY
Vivek High School is committed to the holistic development of its students by maintaining a healthy balance between scholastic and co-scholastic areas. The school firmly believes that every child has the right to grow in a safe, secure, and nurturing environment that promotes personal, social, and environmental responsibility.
The Child Protection Policy (CPP) addresses various dimensions of vulnerability that children may encounter during their association with the school. The policy aligns with the Constitution of India, particularly Article 15(3) and Article 39, ensuring protection from abuse, exploitation, and conditions harmful to a child’s dignity and development.
UNICEF defines child protection as:
“Strengthening environments, capacities, and responses to prevent and protect children from violence,
exploitation, abuse, neglect, and the effects of conflict.”
