Building a Circle of Care: 'A Day with Daddy' at Vivek High School
On August 8, 2026, the toddler community at Vivek High School was filled with excitement, warmth and joy as it hosted "A Day with Daddy." The special event was designed to celebrate paternal bonds, offer meaningful insights into fatherhood and provide fathers and toddlers with an unforgettable opportunity to connect. The celebration opened with an interactive workshop titled "The Caring Circle," conducted by special educator Ms. Minna Mann. The session encouraged fathers to reflect deeply on their central role in fostering a loving, balanced home environment. By nurturing positive relationships within the household, fathers help build a protective "circle of care" around the child that supports emotional security and early childhood development.
Following a break for refreshments that enabled fathers to build camaraderie with fellow fathers and engage in warm conversations with class educators; everyone was ready to dive into the most awaited part of the morning: a joyful time with their little stars.
Fathers and toddlers teamed up to navigate an exhilarating hurdle race, move and groove through high-energy music, and share sweet moments customising colourful paper ties together—before capping off an unforgettable day at the photo booth, where proud papas rocked their new hand-decorated ties for the ultimate keepsake picture! ‘A Day with Daddy’ was a grand success, leaving everyone with fond memories to cherish. It also forged a sense of belonging to the larger community across the Vivek High School family.
